My Approach
I hold a relational perspective. This means I understand the importance of human connection and see humans intricately linked within their relationships – intimate relationships, families, as well as cultural and societal. In a sense, we are our relationships. Healing our relationships is integral to healing ourselves.

I hold a psychodynamic perspective. This means I work with the belief that we all have unconscious parts which influence our thoughts and feelings about ourselves, others and the world. Making the unconscious conscious is a key aspect of the healing journey.
I hold a transpersonal perspective. This means I believe we all have access to an inner source of wisdom, knowledge and insight beyond our understanding of self and is connected to the universe. Tapping into and honoring this source within can be awe-inspiring, regenerative, and transformational.
I hold a somatic perspective. This means I value the wisdom of the body and understand that our bodies hold our experiences. To work with the body – its feelings, sensations and fears – is to also work with the unconscious.
